Setting up IMAP emailaccounts:

The following steps show you how to set up your IMAP emailaccount in Outlook.

Step 1: Close Outlook if it is running.

Step 2: Open the ‘Control panel’.

Step 3: Click on  ‘User Accounts’ and choose ‘Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016)’:

Step 4: Click on ‘E-mailaccounts…’.

Step 5: Click on ‘New…’.

Step 6: Click on ‘Manual setup or additional server types’ and choose ‘Next >’.

Step 7: Click on ‘POP or IMAP’ and choose  ‘Next >’.

Step 8: Fill in the fields and click on ‘More Settings …’:

Step 9: Go to the ‘Outgoing Server’ tab and make sure the settings are the same as the image below:

Step 10: Now open the ‘Advanced’ tab and make sure the settings are the same as the image below

Step 10: Click on ‘OK’ and choose  ‘Volgende >’.

Step 11: Click on ‘Finish’.

Step 12: Open Outlook and check if you’re emailaddress has been added.
